So, I'm going to Reno
and training!! In the Sierra Highlands ward.
I'm really excited. Oh! And I'm biking! No more car for me. I think this
will be such an adventure and it will be good exercise!
My companions are both staying in Elko (the 5th
and 2nd wards) and they're both training too! (Which isn't a surprise
really. 15 new sisters are coming in and there is only 21 of us.) At
first I thought that it wasn't a special thing to be a sister and
training because pretty much all of us are anyways. But then I started
thinking about it and realized that God knew that all 15 of us in this
mission would be ready to do this and that is why he called 15 sisters
to come here. And He knows we will be able to handle 13 more sisters in
April as well. I don't know how (When there is only 6 available to train
after this transfer), but I trust that He knows.
Our investigator was baptized this last weekend! It was such a wonderful
baptism. Her whole family was there and they support her 100% I have no
doubt that her whole family will someday be baptized because they are
such spiritual people with an overwhelming desire to learn and do all
that God would have them to. They've never been religious or affiliated
with any church but they have such strong values and the parents put
every emphasis on the family when they were raising their kids. The whole family
cried at at least one point during the baptism, and some of them during
the whole thing! After wards, father expressed that he would
like to go to church with her. I know that NO ONE can attend a
baptism of one of their loved ones and not feel the Spirit there.
Sorry its so short!
Well, I love you all dearly! Have a great week :)
