I ate so much cake! And then more cake :s My birthday turned
into birthweek! We had a party last Monday... with pizza and cake. Then a
Tongan feast on Tuesday. Matt and Pou cooked enough food for 50 white
people! And yet there was only two white missionary girls and three
tongans (one being half-sized!). Then another family knew it was my
birthday and we had more cake on Wednesday. Then yet another family had us over for sushi since they found out I love the stuff... oh
and more cake!! I was happy that by Friday the members we ate with
didn't even know that it had been my birthday. I am going to need to
start a serious diet! I think I've only gained like four pounds. But
that is still 4 pounds more than I want to weigh!
MOM! Thank you
so much! This was the best birthday I have ever had. Granted, the work
on Tuesday was really rough and nothing worked for us. But we kept going
and then had quite the surprise when we went to our dinner appointment!
The flowers are SOOO beautiful! I think Pou uploaded pictures to
facebook. And the cake was super yummy too! I
about cried when I saw all of your names on there! Best birthday ever!
One of our investigators is getting baptized this Saturday. I can't even express how
excited I am! Mostly because I can see how excited she is - especially
since her family supports her 100%. She has so much faith and such a
strong desire to do what the Lord would have her do. This gospel will change her life and everyone whose life she
touches as well! I'm so grateful that I was able to get to know her and be a part of all of this with her.
I'm going to be training starting March 20th! Our mission has 15
sisters coming (so big surprise I'm training right? more are training
than not training :P) President also told me I'm getting transferred to
the west side of the state (Wooo! whitewashing. or DTed as we called
it!). But I don't know where exactly yet. Close to Reno though. So maybe
I can go to the TEMPLE!!! :) I'll update you next pday when I know for
sure :D I'm kind of nervous because I have no idea what to expect but I
know that it will be great and I'm more than ready. Wish me luck!
Sorry
this week is short! I had a lot of letters to write (and some long ones
to read! :D) But I love you more than all the words I wrote. Always
remember!
